After a 16-year Broadway hiatus, “Miss Saigon” has returned to New York and is crushing box office sales, according to Variety Magazine.
This past weekend, the Broadway revival made over $700,000 in ticket sales, putting itself on track to reach the million dollar mark come opening night. It received 96% capacity for the weekend, filling nearly all of its 1,737 house seats.
The limited run musical opens March 23 at the Broadway Theater.
